We showed them our school, they sat in our lessons and had lots of questions about our school system. We listened to a lecture about the karst and its characteristics by an expert from the Slovak Karst National Parks´s team. We also learned to use the Slovenský Kras app for hiking purposes and gettting to know the flora and fauna of the karst. We went on a hiking trip from Silická Brezová and Kečovo, both situated on one of the surrounding plateaus and saw lots of karst features along the way: karren, sinkholes, cave, stream. On our last day together we commemorated the Hungarian Revolution of 1848 together and our Latvian friends performed a beautiful piece on the meaning of freedom to them.
