      • The second day of the mobility project by our student, Liliana Turisová.
      • I got up at 6:30 AM, ate breakfast at 7:45 AM, and then left for school at 8:25 AM.

Project time: We did a presentation and worked on stuff about St. Kinga and how important salt was a long time ago in the Middle Ages. I found out that St. Kinga was a princess from Hungary and is now a saint.  Also, salt used to be super expensive and hard to find everywhere, which is pretty wild.

St. Kinga is the patron of our partner school and we got to attend a school ceremony that was on her special day. The first part of the ceremony was about giving gifts to the kids who won a competition. After they had som really funny shows. As an example, they played some typical lessons and they've danced to a Michael Jackson song.

After a quick break, I used an app called GooseChase to explore Sanok. I had to do a bunch of things around town, like sending a postcard to Slovakia and taking pictures of statues. I ate a Polish meal called kotlet, which is like fried meat, and drank kompot, which is made from boiled fruit.

I went back to the hotel, took a break, and then went swimming to end the day.

Thinking about it: Even though I was a little tired, it was a really fun day. I'm excited for the rest of the week.
